Mechanical Design Course

As an exercise in mechanical design, I created a SolidWorks model of an orthotic exoskeleton fitting a set of design criteria. The challenge was to design any system while incorporating a four-bar linkage, a pulley system, a variety of joint types (mortise and tenon, rabbet, bridle, butt, lap), and fasteners (retaining rings, washers, lock pins, adhesive, nuts and bolts). My design report is attached below.
