In Summer 2019, I participated in a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Washington's Center for Neurotechnology (CNT). I worked in Dr. Kat Steele's Neuromechanics & Mobility Lab, creating a computational model for optimizing musculotendon properties to simulate walking with ankle-foot orthoses in children with cerebral palsy. I presented my work at the CNT REU Symposium as a short PowerPoint presentation (narrated here) and research poster.
